The sun is shining and I just strolled along Ponsonby Road.

I really like Ponsonby Road, it is arty and fashion-y with lots of wonderful coffee places.

I am so proud of myself for not spending any money. It was real hard - there was this cotton hat that would have looked so cute on me at The Garden Party(a decor place with lots of painted plates). And I went and looked in the Fairy Shop (which has an Angel Shop next door) and I didn't buy a wand. I really really really wanted one but I was good.

Ponsonby Road is so much more fun than Parnell Road where I used to work before the office moved.

Parnell is also a fashion place but it is designer labels not local designers. It is $1000 paintings in formal galleries - which is wonderful sometimes but the attitudes that go with it aren't.

Beautiful is much boarder too. In Parnell it is blonde tanned and a size 10 at the absolute max. And in labels, heels, make up and jewellery at all time.

Ponsonby Road is pretty girls in all shapes and sizes with enough personality to make their own style. I think it helps that it is also THE gay hang out for the city. Say what you like about the gay and lesbian community they have style. So it is also a good place for spotting the beautiful boys as well

I should have put on sun screen before I went out. Or maybe I should have bought the hat.
