Fuzzbutt has finally been desexed! On the thrid attempt. The state of ventinary science has moved a long way - i was expecting to collect a groggy out of it kitten who sulked for two or three days. Instead of which we got a slightly off balance cat who was trying to rocket around as soon as he got home and has spent all day today trying to climb out the window.

We got him a harness and leash for going outside. Figuring that the first few times we will restrict where he can go and teach him to come back inside. Put the harness on and walked him round a bit inside this afternoon. The funniest bit was him rolling over and over and wrapping the leash around his tummy. I should have tried to get a picture - it was hilarious.

I finally got some shirts for work - all short sleeved but it is so close to needing them. Walked passed the shop and found that the boss is clearing old stock for cheap as part of the market day today - and has decided it will be worth carrying on tomorrow. I think I might take some money and get a few myself when i am in tomorrow. At the $60, no way but at $20 they are good quality t-shirting so it is worth it.

The spouse has discovered that his weight loss program had slipped too far without his doctor realising. He is now offically starving - as in has the clinical symptoms of liver changes etc. So we are furiously feeding him small meals to get him going again. He has learnt to make hummus and is cooking rice ready for dinner.

Though he has got obssessed with washing up things instantly he uses them which is driving me nutty. Dishes once or twice a day is plenty!
