Apropos nothing but my hair needs cutting!

I am still stewing about the new opening hours. Especially as a rather interesting speciality coffee retailer has just started renovating their new premises just up the road. While they may do after hours classes I think they are going to run much closer to normal retail hours. And the walk to work even if they didn't doesn't involve some of the rather unsafe places I have to walk through to get to the current job.

That said I still have scruples about leaving a job I have only been in for 2 months.

Still I may give them a call tomorrow and ask if they are going to be hiring staff for the store.

Today was mostly spent being a sloth. Went out for breakfast with the spouse and then over to town to get some sfotware he wanted. Another copy of WoW. He got online and started doing stuff with his guild so I gave up and watch "Planet Earth" all afternoon/evening.

I have to say that while the series is spectular to look at I think they did a better job of covering the same ground with a more coherent narrative and doing more justice to the material in the 1986 "The Living Planet." The newer series feels very jolty and disjointed by comparision.
