05/04/2008 - 4:31 p.m. As my reward for getting the thesis to binding stage I promised myself that I could go and blow the same amount on books as the binding cost. So I now have 6 new books. Three assorted New Zealand history books (they didn't have the 4 th one I wanted). Plus a book about teh Domesday book, Robert Winston's "Story of God" and Frank McCourt's "Teacher Man" I am now trying to read them all at once, skimming introductions and first chapters trying to decide which one to actually read first. Though I am trying to figure out why I keep buying books. There is no room on the bookshelf, there are books on my dresser, my desk, the floor in the living room. I know I could just borrow them from the library but somehow it just doesn't compare with having my own copy. Bels
