21/04/2008 - 4:23 p.m. Voice over IP is a very very bad thing. Especially if the person sitting next to you is gaming on an Aussie server in a game that has the voice channel built in. You know all the moronic l33t stuff that gets typed in on games and forums? Well the way the people typing it speak is a million time worse. Plus you have to deal with the accents which sound like a chainsaw cutting barbed wire! I think I prefer the games that require you to use a separate application that you have to turn on and off. Then you don't have to listen to the general idiocy going on. Actually I wish that life came with that feature - so you can just tune in the channels you want to listen to. "I'm sorry but I have you on /ignore right now. When you grow a brain I'll consider removing it." Hrmmmm I have clearly lost my sense of humour. I have also lost my Ipod. Which I put down somewhere on Thursday and thought "that's a stupid place to leave that." I haven't seen it since. I hope it and the humour are having fun. I have spent today adding to my list of CDs I want to buy. Playing little samples of songs and deciding that I want the whole thing. And playting a couple of songs that I love with videos but wasn't sure whether they'd stand by themselves. This would be why I'm currently humming "Everything I'm not" by The Veronicas. I did do the dishes but didn't run or clean the bathroom. Guess that tells me what tomorrow's plans are! Bels
