Today was spent kevetching about the boss. Also discovering that the place is so much nicer without him!

He and the assitant store manager (ASM) have had a major falling out and we have all been summoned to a supervisors meeting on Monday. The ASM who I thought fully had the position is still a shifty waiting for the last bit of training despite the fact he has more than been perfomring the ASM role!

The boss is somehow managing to make everyone hate him which is kind of sad. It was only today when I was giving the ASM hell that I realised we don't joke round with the boss any more. No teasing or anything but no respect either.

Things sound like they are going to get very political and very unpleasant shortly. I am trying to cover my back and not get drawn into any of it!

On the upside I got to work the bar all day, not even assigned a register! And according to one of the guys I was working with who I haven't been on shift with for about 3 weeks I have actually got better!

Oh and I ran on the treadmill for 20 minutes without dying so I might be shifting this damn cold at long last!
