LOL - I got handed a schedule for the store closer to home. I thought I hadn't decided but my manager thought I had and it is all happening.

Fortunately the guy i was emailing said that he thought it was a good crew and the manager rocked. And it is closer to home. The politics i find out are worse than i thought but it will be a matter of keeping my nose clean and watching my back. Nothing I'm not used to and I don't play those kinds of games so I should be fine.

Went in and met my new manager today. Who I instantly feel in love with - she reminds me so much of S*, the manager at the store I trained at. Who was very straight but good fun at the same time. Like you always knew where you stood as far as the work stuff went but so long as the work was getting done and done by the book then she would joke round and let us have some fun. The new manager has much the same vibe as S* has.

Besides which even if it sucks, it is only 15 minutes walk away and no scary dark bits to walk through and the earliest start I will get is 6:30am! I should get to sleep till 5:30ish and still have enough time to eat porridge!

Plus they have a manaual machine so i can get my coffee skills back up and it will be easier to move to somewhere else!
