Having done a run that means at the end of my shift tomorrow I will ahve worked 10 out of the last 11 days I look at next week's roster to find that I am scheduled for 6 days next week. Which part of FOUR days do these people not get!!!!

I am going fuzzy round the edges but I did manage to hold the store down by myself for the better part of two hours this morning while the manager dealt to the million bits of admin that have to be done. I am still loving on the manual espresso machine but I do miss the under bar dishawasher. And there is an upside to the very cramped layout we had in my original store. Like I could do hot and cold drinks simply by turning round and frisbee dirty milk jugs over onto the bench by the sink. I'd have to pitch them where I am now - likely to be noisy and potentially messy if there is any milk left in them.

When I finally escaped, I went for a run. What is with butterflies at teh end of May. Saw two beautiful monarchs flapping lazily around as I came back in.

Only one more shift then I get two days off! Better go pack up my gear!
