Nothing much to say.

Started Saturday rocking out to RPM with teh big black man. Who was being rude about well Christchurch as a whole but Crusaders fans in particular.

Went out for breakfast to my favourite cafe.

Then basically slothed the rest of the day.

Failed to think deep thoughts. Apart from getting moderately annoyed with the idiot politicans (Green Party co-leader) who is saying that the big dairy company should cut its local prices rather than sell in NZ at world prices. Yes it is only 5% of their total output but they have an obligation to teh farmers who own them to sell at the best price they can get. So if they can't sell at world price they will sell 0% of their output in NZ! Plus the money goes to local farmer who rush off and buy tractors and new fences and pay their sharemilkers and so on. So, whining shoppers, aside they are actually doing good things for the country by making all that money. Specially as tourism is going to struggle for the next little while with the higher oil prices and the financial crisis in the US and Europe. So we *need* the price of dairy to stay up - the pain at the supermarket is more than offset by the benefit to the country as whole. Plus too much cheese and butter isn't good for you!
