I have caught the bug doing the rounds at work.

Came home yesterday after spiking a fever 2 hours into my shift and having to finish the shift and just crashed.

Slept till 10:30am this morning. Discovered there was no phone or internet when i got up. This meant I couldn't move money around so there was no going and buying something nice to have for lunch.

Phoned the telco faults line and got a fault report in. Got told that the tech would not need access to the house. Dragged my sorry butt into work only to get called by the tech to say that he would need access to the house. Had him call the spouse who could come home and hang round waiting.

By 3pm I was dragging so i had a red eye ( a cup of filter coffee with a shot of espresso added.)

Cleaned as fast as we could because it wasn't too busy.

I am still sleepy despite all the coffee. Wonder if I will sleep.
