I didn't get the store manager's job at the indie roaster. From the way they spoke I doubt they'll offer me an assistants job either.

The boss called me to see if there was any way I could drop everything and go into work. I said no. (This was before I got the call from the indie roaster - perhaps I should have said yes as I now know I need to butter my current boss up.)

Despite planning a million things to get done today I have basically done nothing. I am tired even though I didn't get up until 9 this morning. I think I will jsut go back to bed and write today off.
