Argh, my boss is going to drive me nuts!! So this morning she is telling me off for leaving at 8:10pm last night. Because I "didn't finish everything". Well, excuse me I have a life outside of work - I needed to do some stuff at home and be home by 8:15 like I said I would.

Then she wants me to leave the floor unattended so she can show me how to clean the dishwasher!!! Going on and on about how I can't be a supervisor unless I am acting as a role model and doing jobs properly.

By 8am I was just about ready to tell her where she could shove the whole damn job. Especially as when she shut up about the cleaning she would start up about how she isn't well...

The hilarious thing is that when I work with "the bitch" I actually care about doing a good job and about being effective and efficient. And I want to stay with the company and get ahead.

My boss, who is a StarYucks true believer, makes me want to do things badly or quit. "The bitch" hates the company and is actually suing them for backpay at the moment but she is a much better role model and motivator!

Though I think I grossed the boss out when I said that my house hadn't been cleaned for 3 weeks - she is a total neat freak. She cleans her house every night after work!

Her priorities as manager are, the store being spotless, the paperwork being up to date, customer service then maybe staff and their development.

Me, I run happy customers, happy staff and meeting sales targets. All the other stuff like cleaning and admin only matter in so far as they contribute to those. Like if the store is a sty you can't have happy customers or make target. But if the dishwasher only get scrubbed once a week, who cares so long as it gets done!

I don't see myself making RMT from this store!
