Have a bad attack of the blahs.

Didn't get the job I interviewed for on Thursday. Went and interviewed with an agency on Friday.

Smacked my knee into the end of a bus seat on the way there and have an enormous bruise on the top of the knee which is still coming out 2 days later. And, yes, it is the already damaged knee.

The interview at the agency went well enoug. I will call them back on Monday and ask to be put up for an insurance call centre job. Again, yes, i am desparate, this job is one step removed from going back on a help desk. I ahve worked insurance call centre before and loathed it. But partly it was because I had a frightful commute to get there.

The cat has lost his collar. He looks very odd without it. I am now worrying about him getting lost. But at this point I have to wait until the spouse goes to get one as I have no money. Hopefully he will go out and do this tomorrow even if we can't get an ID tag engraved.

In other blahs, I forgot to put brown rice on the shopping list and had to have Uncle Ben's parboiled white rice for dinner. That stuff is completely vile. It is isn't rice it is a taste-free carb calorie delivery system! Bla-ick in fact!

And my jelly won't set!
